The Monterey Bay Drone, Automation & Robotics Technology (DART) initiative is meant to stimulate entrepreneurship & innovation for new venture creation & expansion. These future growth sectors offer good fit industry growth for the Monterey Bay region, and the DART initiative brings together industry, academia, & government to realize this economic development potential. Join these meetups to connect with likeminded innovators, entrepreneurs, educators, investors, agency representatives, real estate developers and others interested is supporting the growth of a thriving DART cluster in the Monterey Bay region. Our inaugural DART Meetup co-hosted with Startup Monterey Bay Tech Meetup at the UCMBEST Center will include an introduction to the DART Initiative, discussion of 2019 planned activities, an informational presentation by representatives from Joby Aviation, and ample networking time.
