Mr. Matthew Merighi is the Director of Operations (Acting) and Northeast Regional Director for the National Security Innovation Network, a program office in the Department of Defense (DoD). In his role, Matthew manages NSIN’s 25+ Regional Network personnel across the U.S. who build relationships between DoD entities, universities, and startups. Matthew is also the President of Lazuli Advisors LLC, a
consulting company specializing in defense technology.

A graduate of Georgetown University and the Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy at Tufts University, he has co-founded two startups and spent time building academic programs at Tufts. He began his career working on security cooperation programs for the Air Force (SAF/IA).
