Raja Sengupta

Raja Sengupta is Professor at University of California, Berkeley. He brings over twenty years of aerospace experience, having produced drone technologies for the US Navy, Marine Corp, NSF, NASA, BAE Aerospace, Shell Oil, Pacific Gas & Electric, the California Department of Transportation, and most recently for UAM companies. He serves as director to the pioneering Cal Unmanned Lab which has trained over 30 engineers who have revolutionized unmanned flight in the world’s leading tech companies. He advised and founded the successful start-up automatic.com acquired by SiriusXM. He also founded Responsible Robotics. RR enabled PG&E and UC Berkeley to begin and expand drone operations. Raja Sengupta has been an advisor on UAS operations to NATO, NASA, the World Bank, recipient of USDOT’s Connected Vehicle Technology award, UC Berkeley’s Energy and Climate Lectures Innovation Award, and has authored over a hundred papers spanning control theory, networking, drones, and transportation.
