Beyond the impressive aerial displays, attendees had the unique opportunity to witness the cutting-edge technology used in drone operations and learn about drones’ vital role in disaster response and other critical missions.

Eye in the Sky: The Drones on Display

Attendees were treated to two impressive drone demonstrations that captivated the audience:

  • Wind 4: DJI’s Wind 4 is a versatile multirotor drone. It is a workhorse platform ideal for training and carrying experimental payloads of up to 30 pounds. With a 30-minute flight time, the Wind 4 can be programmed for missions, making it a valuable tool for experimental research and training programs.
  • Turbo Bushmaster: The Turbo Bushmaster is a scaled-down replica of the renowned De Havilland DHC-2 Beaver. This fixed-wing aircraft has a 120-inch wingspan and impressive flight capabilities. Primarily used for advanced UAS training, the Turbo Bushmaster can carry payloads of up to 20 pounds for over an hour, showcasing the potential of drones for high-performance flight demonstrations and training sessions.
