Peter Church is the Aviation Education Program Manager at Joby Aviation. An airplane and helicopter flight instructor, he contributes to Joby Aviation Academy’s ab initio pilot training program while managing Apprenticeship and Workforce Development initiatives. Before working at Joby, Peter was a U.S. Naval Officer and Helicopter Pilot. After flying counter-narcotics in the H-60 Seahawk, he earned a M.S. in National Security Studies from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California. Serving at the United States Naval Academy, he managed the Aviation Selection Test Battery and Service Selection programs, while instructing in American Government and Aviation Career Development. He is passionate about expanding access to aviation careers and sharing the wonders of flight.
