About DART

Established in the Monterey Bay Tri-county Region of Monterey, San Benito and Santa Cruz counties, DART is a non-profit organization dedicated to statewide advancement of uncrewed aerial systems (UAS) and advanced air mobility (AAM) sectors.

These emerging technology industries are driving transformative changes across sectors such as transportation, national defense and public safety, agriculture and natural resources, energy and climate resiliency, and many more. This rapid growth brings an urgent need for aligned, modernized workforce training, infrastructure development, and policy support to keep pace with evolving demands. Our goal is to empower communities and businesses by advancing innovative strategies that drive capacity building and economic vitality.

DART acts as a catalyst by collaborating with companies, government agencies, community-based organizations (CBOs) and academic institutions to support design, implementation, and scaling sustainable solutions. These solutions address challenges in workforce training, resource access, infrastructure development, and stakeholder engagement –laying the groundwork for an inclusive economic future for our communities and the entire state of California.
