DroneCamp 2024, held from June 24th to June 28th on the campus of Cal State Monterey Bay concluded successfully. 

This year’s event highlighted the essential partnership between DroneCamp organizers and Monterey Bay DART. DART’s generous contribution of ten scholarships ensured broader access to this valuable educational opportunity, regardless of financial limitations. The hybrid format attracted a total of 126 participants, with 86 attending in-person and 40 joining virtually. This strong turnout reflects the growing interest and demand for advanced drone technology education.

The comprehensive program offered  dozens of workshops across multiple disciplines, providing comprehensive training in drone mapping, surveying, data collection, and analysis. The collaboration with Monterey Bay DART and Cal State Monterey Bay provided exceptional resources and expertise, ensuring a superior learning experience for all attendees.

Positive feedback and strong participation highlight these partnerships’ crucial role in advancing drone technology education. The DroneCamp team looks forward to continuing this collaboration and expanding the program’s reach and impact.
