DART Honored by Marina Chamber of Commerce for Advancing Technology Sector Growth and Workforce Development

Marina, CA – The Drone Automation Robotics Technology (DART) organization was recognized by the Marina Chamber of Commerce for its outstanding contributions to the growth of the technology sector in Marina, particularly in securing Joby Aviation’s presence at the Marina Airport and expanding local workforce development opportunities.
The award was presented by Congressman Jimmy Panetta and Marina Chamber President Mary Ann Leffel at the Marina Chamber of Commerce Awards Gala, held at the Marriott SpringHill Suites in Marina on February 28, 2025. Accepting the honor on behalf of DART were Executive Director Josh Metz and DART Board President, Cody Cleverly, who also serves as the Workforce Development Lead at Joby Aviation.
