What is SOAR AAM?
SOAR AAM (Strategic Outlook and Assessment for Regional Advanced Air Mobility) is a comprehensive project designed to evaluate and enhance the readiness of general aviation airports in the Monterey Bay Region for next-generation aircraft, including electric and hydrogen-fuel vehicles, Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS), and passenger air taxis. By leveraging NASA, Caltrans, and FAA guidelines, we aim to establish a robust framework that will pave the way for cutting-edge aviation technologies.
