Tony C. Williams

Tony retired as a senior executive director with Army Futures Command recently and is currently a full-time senior advisor with the Naval Post Graduate School Office of Research and Innovation in Monterey, CA, where he helps lead the NavalX Central Coast Tech Bridge to scout, fund and support DODx technology firms in Silicon Valley and beyond.

He is also a Defense Tech board director, former founder, CEO and Operating Advisor with global experience in defense and clean tech, engineering program management, government contracting industries, and professional services. His focus is on companies leading innovation. His expertise includes strategy development, business transformation, management and M&A. His global governance experience includes work in Europe, Asia, South America, and North America.

He has a special interest in preparing venture capital firms for adversarial capital challenges and transitions. He is a former Sr. Presidential Fellow with an intelligence agency, international security and diplomacy as well as military engineering experience. He has been recognized for his ability to maximize board effectiveness, his uniter style contributes to high-quality ideation and meaningful debate.
