Chris Lopez

Supervisor Chris Lopez was elected in June 2018 and officially assumed office in January 2019 to represent Monterey County’s Third District. Soon after, he was appointed as Vice Chair of the Board of Supervisors. In addition to his leadership role, he actively participates in several boards and committees, including the Natividad Medical Center Board of Trustees, LAFCo of Monterey County, First Five Monterey County, Salinas Valley Solid Waste Authority, Monterey County Behavioral Health Committee, and the Alternative Energy and Environment Committee, among others.
