Dallas Brooks is the Aviation Standards and Outreach Lead for Wing, where he leads Wing’s interactions with global aviation stakeholders to shape policy, standards and procedures to improve aviation safety. He also serves as the Industry Co-Chair of the FAA-chartered Drone Safety Team, a government/industry partnership created to support and promote drone safety.

His background includes overseeing the Department of Defense’s UAS integration efforts as the Military Director of the DoD Policy Board on Federal Aviation, co-founding and leading multiple Federal scientific and R&D bodies on UAS integration, and serving as the Chairman of the Board for AUVSI, the world’s largest uncrewed systems trade association. He has served on five Aviation Rulemaking Committees and on countless aviation committees and panels supporting UAS integration. Dallas retired from the US Air Force as a Lieutenant Colonel in 2010. He is an Instrument-Rated Commercial Pilot (C-ASMEL-I) and an FAA-licensed Remote Pilot.
