Peter Church

Peter Church brings a diverse set of military and civilian experience. He will be helping develop and support community drone training initiatives and Veteran skills pathways. During his time in the Navy, he served as an H-60 Seahawk helicopter pilot and later instructed at the US Naval Academy. He then worked for Joby Aviation in Marina, CA developing pilot and manufacturing training programs. As a Navy Reservist, he continues to work with drone training programs and personnel.

An airplane and helicopter instructor, Peter has also earned a B.A. in International Relations from the University of Colorado Boulder, and an M.A. in National Security Studies from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey. A resident of Seaside, CA, he enjoys surfing, mountain biking, and gardening in his free time.
