Work with DART to Shape California’s Advanced Air Mobility Future
DART (Drones, Aviation & Robotics Technology) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the advanced air mobility (AAM) and uncrewed aircraft systems (UAS) sectors. We believe these industries must be built to ensure community vitality and create quality career paths for disinvested communities.
DART acts as a vital catalyst, uniting industry, government, community organizations, and academic institutions. Our mission is to solve the complex, cross-sector challenges that pave the way for a thriving, inclusive, and responsible AAM ecosystem. We focus our collaborative work on three core pillars:
- Ecosystem Building: We bring community, industry, and policy voices together to drive responsible progress. Through strategic partnerships, we foster innovation, support startups, and advocate for policies that align regional growth with workforce needs, creating pathways for sustained, community-centered economic development.
- Infrastructure Development: We serve as a central hub for the strategic planning of critical AAM/UAS infrastructure. By fostering regional collaborations, DART spearheads feasibility studies, leads grant proposals for vertiports and other key assets, and works to ensure that the foundational groundwork for this new technology is robust, safe, and accessible.
- Workforce Development: We bridge the gap between emerging technologies and a skilled, “future-proof” workforce. In collaboration with industry leaders and educators, we design and implement innovative apprenticeship programs and training initiatives, equipping a diverse talent pool with the high-demand skills required for the aerospace jobs of today and tomorrow.
DART is always looking for new and innovative ways to support our mission. If you are part of an organization looking to lead the industry, a professional eager to lend your expertise, or a stakeholder committed to building an inclusive and innovative future, we invite you to connect with us.
